CIRCLE OF LOVE

I climb the wall

At times perilous

Sometimes the wind blows

And I must cling to it

Sometimes there's no foothold

And I just

Hang from it

There's only

Darkness below

And no

Safety net

The ground,

The depths of the bottom

A distant memory

Of some land I've forgotten

Of some time long behind me

As I approach the top

Can smell the fruit of the trees

Vines reaching down

(Too weak to climb)

But still beckoning me

Birds chirp from above

This pit my full circle

See the light of the sunrise

Still dark hues of purple

But it's there, I can see it

That miracle above

Emit a light of my own

In this circle of love
